I have changed my ferry time to leave Portsmouth on 17th at 8pm. I will keep in touch re getting to Hertford St. I'll see if June is going to the funeral. Love Dad.
We went out to lunch today to Totland where we have been before - a rather super-duper restaurant called The Country Garden. Mum started with a gin and orange and had a large glass of white wine with her chicken, so she really enjoyed the day out. I haven't heard her laugh so much for years!! We had a lovely day. We will have to take you next time you are over here, although laughter is not guaranteed!
Julian - Mum, June and I would like to drop off at Avignon on our way by TGV to Montpellier on 22nd July. Is that possible and could you do the honours for us - like meet us? It should be warm enough for us to sleep outdoors
We have been watching a programme called The Impressionists. All about Degas, Monet and Renoir in the form of a play. Verrry interesting. Degas has a lovely beard. Hope the house improvements are progressing favourably. LOL Dad and Mum
