They've made it at 0400 on 17th August 2008

Phone call from Steve to Gemma at 2200. Too late for the booze up at Dave's bar, but alive and tired. Whoopee!!! Now lt's time to look for somewhere to sleep. Well done my faithful travelers, love from Mum and Dad. One more gold medal!!

Dad and Will rang us at 22.00 on Saturday night (our time). The last few kms of road into UB turn from tarmac into tank tracks with huge delves for them to drive through so it no smooth arrival.
