All seems well

Nurse tells me that Dad is back from theatre and is comfortable, sitting up in bed with a cup of tea...so that's good news.

I may or may not make one more visiting hours run today, but Mum is pretty tired and I think Dad would forgive us if we just parked out for the rest of the day. Emotionally there has been some tension that only good news and a glass of wine can alleviate!

Ps. Mum enjoyed the marimba concert sitting out in the sun and eating cake with a cuppa or two.
