Yes, sorry to hear that we have lost Ronnie Barker. Porridge was a real hit with me as a kid. But on the subject of porridge I am delighted to find mum and dad are due a visit. Maybe Grandad can show our little family how real porridge should be made. I have never managed to capture the 'je ne c'est quoi' element that dad always brought to Saturday mornings when, as I have now learned to understand, finances were a bit tight!

Looking forward to the visit. Hopefully we will have sorted out some wheels by then. It should be fun as the weather has been quite warm again recently and it may be still possible to eat outside from time to time.

We are on the look-out for a good paella restaurant....
