Dear all,
Mum and Dad arrived more than a week ago and are well established in our room with Jan and myself upstairs in the lounge on the sofa bad (very comfortable to be truthful). The weather has been fantastic in the last few days and we have seen bright sunny days well up in the twenties. It´s cool at night and mum got a stiff neck sitting out on the balcony the other evening but she has a cream to rub in now so is more comfortable. She seems to be very well considering she has had an operation but of course she tires easily so we have to treat her kindly. The stairs are a concern what with no bannisters and being made of concrete but she is coping admirably. It is a real pleasure to see her getting the giggles. We have had a few laughs and last night some culture by going to a concert by a Birmingham based choir who were doing a charity gala night.
The down side is that the Mac is still failing to start and so Dad has no way to post to you all. I´m doing this from school having just recovered my password because I´d forgotten it (having automatic connections by my Mac). I´m going to try to get the machine to Alicante to a Mac dealer there to see if he can buzz it with whatever it needs. Unlikely to be this week though so I´ll wait for the salvage discs to arrive to see if it will start up from them Steve. Not looking good at the minute, I must admit.
Off home now to see how they are all getting on.
Love to you all
Pete
