Well odd first day at new job (Thanks very much for the card Grandma & Grandad) but hopefully better tomorrow although can't argue with the office location (Wellington Square). Ventured into the Examination School for the first time to pick up some dissertations, walked past a film crew at the Sheldonian (Inspector Morse spin-off 'Lewis' is filming in the city at the moment). Walked home with Clive, just had comfort food of bangers & mash but now we are all upset as there is steam coming off the hot water tap & the central heating/radiators have stopped working for no apparent reason. Plus we both have colds...oh and my startup disk says its full but it won't let me move anything to the other volume - do i have to delete some stuff/applications off it? Might be time to open my leaving present of Lindt choc reindeer (no idea why they gave me reindeer).

ok got the Mac sorted with disk warrior, half eaten the reindeer, got portable electric fire pn, Clive has emailed the landlady a,d watching Jack Dee on tv being miserable has cheered me up - as Scarlett said 'tomorrow is another day'.
