name dropping for eno fans

hi all from me on tour again in a very dodgey hotel in grenoble whose murals would not get into the pompidou....but lovely music and off to do rakette or something silly in the snow with colleagues followed, apparently by cep raclette.
a little boy in the metro asked me if my cello was a grande poubelle _ a huge dustbin! makes a change from the mother in law joke!
...brian eno was a student of my dads and is a friend of the family and i made an album with him and ricky nelson! he is, possibly one of the sexiest most entertaining and brilliant men my teenage self encoutered and i had a huge crush on him. my dad had done a lovely potrtrait of him which i am sure julian will find a way to link you to. he is a man who has always followed his wild heart from roxy music to ambient music to perfume and back to willie nelson.
the group here seem rather keen on me and if i werent already busy in august i might be asked to do the whole summer with them in salzburg which would be cool but minimal hisband sightings.
pete, enjoyed your book and would love to talk it through with you some time...
lotsa love, ruthie
