Benidorm

Yes my lovlies, it is upon us.

As Dad has rightly pointed out the series 'Benidorm' starts this week on Thursday night (Feb 1st) on ITV 1 at 10pm, I believe. We don't have ITV over here ourselves, and those that do might not welcome a family of interloping tele-watchers at 11pm our time to share the experience. By all accounts the show is funny but crass. Perhaps it will become a classic to rank alongside Tom and Jerry, Dad's Army, Fawlty Towers and Ripping Yarns, but somehow I doubt it. Mind you, it should be a pretty fair reflection of what can be seen in the worst parts of our lovely Costa Blanca!

Jess, Beth and Amy are in episodes 3, 4 and 6 we understand, so perhaps do yourselves a favour and avoid it for a couple more weeks!! Unless you just cannot keep yourselves away from Johnny Vegas, of course. There are pupils from our school in all the epoisodes, so I have a personal interest in watching all six episodes...More to follow in a couple of days' time!
