Happy Aniversary Mum and Dad, congratulations on sticking to it through thick an thin and always being there for us. We are having a very quiet Christmas but John and I realy needed a rest, as John's work has been very tricky since the Northen Rock thing and the following financial down turn and also being mother for the best part of six weeks whilst I was repainting the flat in London.
The week before christmas was a bit mad I got back from my flat diy trip late Sunday, felt to exhausted to do anything beond the immediatly necessary by Wednesday I hadn't done anything towards Christmas and all our friends wanted to catch up with us before they all went off to their various destinations.
Today we shall be doing the traditional Boxing Day walk..trailing along in a snake of resentful teenagers who are to tired for these kind of larks,I shall hope to get a birthday cake made for tomorrow. Nikki and family will be coming over for Kate's birthday. So it had better look like a birthday
