Hello family
Mum and Dad are invited to Forty Green over Christmas and Peter will be going up to Kings Sutton on the 22nd to collect them. Dad won't need to take his car as Peter and Steve will be doing the ferrying.
Mum and Dad will be zipped off to Oxford by Peter for a celebration meal at Hertford Street on Christmas Eve, and again, Peter will collect them at a reasonable hour that same evening and take them back to Bledlow so they can wake up in their own time on Christmas morning and enjoy the festivities of Christmas with our young and easily excitable children. Steve, Clive, Gemma and Will can also wake up in their own time too, which may be a welcome respite depending on how late they stay up....
On Boxing Day Steve will come over to Forty Green and miraculously transport Mum and Dad to Wales where I expect he will stay overnight. Cathy and John have invited Mum and Dad for the rest of that week, but Cathy is working as of the 29th. To finish off this part of Mum and Dad's week, Peter will go up to Wales with the older girls on the weekend, probably Sunday the 28th, and return to KS on the Monday after what I hope will have been a fun night in Wales, especially for all those young cousins.
As for New Year, Pete and Jan are out with Pam and Steve on the 31st but they have invited anyone who wishes to to come round for a New Year's Day meal at Forty Green. Steve says he is coming, Mum and Dad will be coming of course and all others are welcome. This will be a bit more of a bring and share, with details to be finalised once we know what left-overs we all have from Christmas!
Roll on the festive season and Merry Christmas to all. Hope this makes it all clear.
Thanks for the kitten post, Gemma. Have you seen the talking cats on u-tube. They are very good for a laugh too!
