We had arranged to meet Birdie and Dave Powell at the Chinnor Indian restaurant yesterday
The weather was very cold and we had to scrape off the Ice from the car.
I suddenly thought why scrape when all I needed to do was to drive the car over the road where the early morning sun was shining and presto the sun cleared away all the ice leaving all windows clean. We set off for Chinnor and duly met our friends at the Restaurant (The old CTC club). We had a lovely meal and a good chat, left their bungalow at 3-20 and we were home for tea. A good day out.
