Ah jess done bought me a four bar four

landrover series 3 1980, marine blue, 2.25 petrol, used daily and ready to go. Generally good condition with clean straight bodywork Passed last MOT with only headlight issues, now sorted.  Great in the sun with the top off!. Engine very reliable, always starts and all gears and 4x4 work fine. Has three new three point inertia reel seatbelts fitted in front. Chassis has had patches but is generally in good condition.   It is 30 years old however and whilst it drives very well,  does not drive like a modern car. Inspection recommended so you know what you are buying. Having to sell as need cash to buy another car. any questions or more photos just ask. at some point in its life, the fuel tank has been changed and the filler is now in the hatch under the front seat. Added info- mileage listed above is speedo reading, it may be accurate but it could be 152000! as the speedo only has 5 digits

I don't think there are any Landys that can beat the series 3 for style, looks and basic quality. You done good. I hope I can get a ride in it sometime. Didn't think the split windscreen was still around in 1980. What a beaut though. Looks in really fine nick. Jealousy comes naturally to me when Landys are involved. Presumably there are bench seats in the back so it seats 7. I keep telling Jan what a fine example of a family car the series 3 is but she isn't having any of it!!

Anyone fancy Top Trumps?

Your Best or Worst motor £400 bought off Dad.. He'd tow me round Chinnor with his Saab to get it to start.. so new engine and off to ...
