Today I start a new life. Yesterday I had my last day at school as I have decided to take a break from teaching and investigate other avenues. There is no plan as yet but I will be formulating one over the next few weeks so wish me well in this. Its a tremendous leap of faith but I think it is what I have to do to preserve the vestiges of my sanity. In the end I was working too hard for not enough job satisfaction and will gladly take a pay cut to find less stormier waters. Hopefully it will only be a pay cut and not a total severance of income for very long. So, in a sense, Saturday could be have other celebratory undertones. Hope we can still go for it, although the weather looks nice for ducks...
