I have sent you an email (presume thats workin!) Apple works may not open them but we will have to translate them into Appleworks... reassured it is not a problem. Have you tried setting the rocker box in the 'open file' window to 'any file' rather than 'Appleworks'? Have you also tried just putting a file on the desktop and double clicking it? If none of this works send me a file and I will conduct various scientific experiments on it.
