Sunday Washout

although salvaged by a wonderful evening.

The folk group Pentangle from the sixties are on tour and Will had a spare ticket so braving the rains we headed off into town yesterday evening. The Cowley Road Festival was on it's last knockings and we picked our way past the belly dancers and 'rrrrRRice and Pea' stalls.
It was a wonderful evening, the group on top form although without that willowy youth look that I recall. I remember listening to them at Chinnor in the Orange lounge, with my head and Dad's speakers wired up in a huge bass drum case to get the full stereo effect.

All topped off later by catching up with the recorded tennis final and Lewis' triumph in horrendous South Northamptonshire weather!
