As you can see it was all smiles as the boys were very glad to be finally on their way at 1pm and get some miles under their belts. The gods were smiling as the organisers moved Will and Steve to the front so were fourth out of the park following the novelty entrants of a Routemaster bus and two 1970s ambulances!!
I'm steadily adding photos to their website and hopefully some video once I've worked out how to get it off my new phone.
Very glad you had nice time on the island G&G, as you can see it was such a proud moment to see the boys all packed up and raring to go and seeing them get to know some of the other teams. It really came home about how much preparation and effort had taken place. Go boys go!
Keep track of them as they report in via text on their website - they have had some adventures already!!
