Polishing

Yes! I remember polishing the indian brass plates and not really liking the clash of colours when the the polish brought up the pinkish ting of the copper against the yellowy gold of the brass, I also remember feeling frustrated that I could never get all the white deposit from the Brasso out of the dimpled surface. What a world of memory there is in a simple object, who'd of thought!
