Hi Julian, I've been watching Giles Coren and Sue Perkins learn about surburban self sufficiency a la Tom and Barbara Good (Giles and Sue live the Good Life). They do the goat, pig, chicken rearing thing and get the rotavator going too. As you are outside UK, I guess you can't use the bbc iplayer but there are clips on youtube. Peapod wine anyone?
