the latest mozart plan is that a violinist in our band who is running the seven sisters marathon and has to collect money for a charity has decided that the charity is to pay off the 'surf board' and pay the assistant dream boat conductor to do one show with us....i had a very good talk to the big cheese at the first night party (I seem to be the only person who dares speak to anyone outside the band) but he insists that there is absolutely nothing they can do. humph.
just back from dinner with friend who runs neal's yard in brighton and he gave me a wonderful spray called 'calm'. wish i could wing it over to you margaret for the flight but sounds like you have caught the cougieux calm anyway! so glad to hear you are relaxing well and happy there.
ra ra for the cat flap. only julian merrow-smith could make an adobe meets stone henge cat flap!

it looks likely that julian and I will be going to Isle de Wight on sunday 10th to pick up car and for me to have the chance to see h an' m and any other merrow smiths that are there...what are plans?
the sun shone today and glyndebourne sheep and lamas were smiling and hills glinting. another kind of paradise. i will walk in accross the south downs again tomorrow from lewes. haven't quite figured out the last part of the walk and last time had a bit of an accident with the barbed wire. see y'all next week, rxx
