great to see y'all at the manoir. what a day! i just want to say what an amazing family you all are and how much i appreciate the warmth you all give in welcoming me into it. coming from a very WIERD SMALL (but also wonderful in it's way) family it is a breath of fresh merrow-smith air to be with you and share hugs and foie gras. Congratulations a million times Hugh and Margaret for all the sunshine you have brought into the world.
I was disappointed however that Julian bought neither the famous petit fours nor a sliver of choccy wokky doo dah cake back home, so any postal remedies in this direction would be welcome co 9a St John's Terrace, Lewes, Sussex BN7 2DL. it was a wrench to leave you and go back to work but today i have my first day off. still in jammies and not even done my yoga yet. that's more like it! julian has shown an interest in yoga too and we are going to get the cats started to work off the holiday tums. I hope they will all have perfected their tadasana by the time i return for 10 minutes at the weekend! have happy returns all those who are travelling far, and see you all again sooner or later in les couguieux for more o' the same!
