Auntie Lenny's Funeral

As the now senior member of our little family I would like to say that I was very proud of all members of our family who were able to make their way to Bewdley to pay their respects to my dear sister Lenny.

Lenny's daughter Sue and her granddaughter Katy were super in their welcome to us all and after our return from the Crematorium and the very moving church service at a well attended St. Anne's in Bewdley where Katy gave a very touching eulogy on the life of her grandma, treated us to a marvellous food spread in Barratts Close.

The weather was super with a day of warm sunshine to give us the opportunity to spend the afternoon in the garden, eating drinking and chatting. Thank you all, especially to Steve by giving up his day to transport us in record time to Bewdley and safely back home, and Alan for bringing sister June and members of her family.
