Basking in the Sun

While the rest of the UK is in the throes of deep white, we are basking in blue skies and bright sunshine. In fact we have had a water warning, that the winter rainfall is below average and we are in danger of severe shortages in the coming months. Seems difficult to believe when there have been many reports of flooding in some parts of the mainland. I am not saying that we are experiencing summer weather as there is ice o n our little pond and we have to break the ice to allow the birds and squirrels to drink. Count down starts today on our Spanish trip - just hope we can get back, as I havea doctors appointment on 14th April!! Lovely pictures of Ruby, Steve - at least we can see who her father is n'est pas? Mum's freesias still look and smell lovely. Thanks for all your efforts re accommodation, Pete. We now have a pocketful of euros, so don't worry.
