Julian phoned me last night to correct my comment about the £5000. What he meant was that thanks to the NYT and its art readers the article cleared out all his unsold Postcards from Provence, plus many other paintings. Stillives, portraits, landscapes etc!! I love Ruth's Meanwhile....
