Ceylonese plates

Does anyone remember the two small brass plates we used to have at 77? Dad doesn't remember them but I'm sure they had elephants on which suggests they came back with him from Ceylon. I have a memory that they were somehow embossed and had a slightly different coloured metal within their design....perhaps a slightly reddish elephant design on them...not quite the ones in the picture below...?

Elephantts could have had something to do with W H Day Esq if Dad doesn't remember. What about those wooden Elephants? I remember a large and a small one with ivory tusks and toenails.
