This year's statistics.....

P Merrow-Smith; 2 matches, 2 innings, not out once, total runs 102, highest score 72 n.o. and an average of 51.

By anyone's standards that's an improvement, wouldn't you say? Perhaps you should threaten to get me more stuff! Thigh pads, helmet, box, bat...you never know, I may have amassed over a 1000 runs at that rate by the time you get here!

By the way, I've also doubled my catches. Last year I got two all year. Last match I got three; a well hit drive to deep mid on, a hook to the boundary at deep backward square and an edge to a forward diving point...c'est moi! So that's a tally of four for the season so far...
