to you all for your kind wishes to this aging bugger - I mean blogger. We tried to take a picture of the moon rising over our vineyard/mountain but the dead battery wouldn't oblige. Tonight maybe.
To celebrate we are lunching in Châteauneuf du Pape at La mere gourmand (where we eat outside in October), then a tour Ruth has organised around Château Rayas (ideas for birthday presents here ) We cant afford to buy anything but we know the owner. Then Chicken mole (chicken in chocolate) tonight at our chef friends in Entrechaux.
