Mum and Dad went to see the nurse at Brackley medical centre today so Mum could get something done in the chiropedy dept (ooch) and Dad was told he must use his legs more. We talked about aqua-robics and taking little walks and building up. So perhaps getting out of the chair is a very good first step.
We now have lighting over the dining area in the lounge and a fixed line phone back-up in the bedroom in addition to the wireless one Dad now is happy to use. The new handset has a loud-speaker so Dad can hold it to away a bit and use it to hear with both ears rather than trying with one or the other.
