Will and Gem and Clive and I went for Sunday lunch with G&G to The Butchers Arms in Kings Sutton, the local Hooky hostelry. I think Grandad's choice of profiterols wasn't up to expectation though. I suspect that a great big pile of them covered in chocolate sauce was what was in mind when the order went in instead of ONE on a bit of old cake! LOL
Excellent ales are on tap,with large portions of finest roasted beef and lamb, yorkshire pud, roast tatties and even marrow in peppery sauce, mmmmmm....
Mum made a good fist of the main course and even polished off a raspberry pavlova as well and was delighted that some else did all the washing up!
There are three little Dachshunds prowling around looking for tit bits, one of which is 20 yrs old and really could do with a lolly stick tied under him to help him over the step..aahh!

yeah it were a lovely afternoon with G & G in such a sweet cosy little pub. The village is lovely and its a v. pretty drve over there from Oxford. We like!
