Big Rooster

Hi folks, and welcome to the new year. We are having a quite day after a boute of gastroentiritis has knocked the stuffing out of Claire and Daniel.

Jen's Mum threw a dinner on Sunday night for the Sng family which I took a rain check on, having picked up the bug early. Unfortunately, during a severe vomitting session, I passed out and smashed my face on the floor. Spare you all the details, but ended up in hospital and quite a few people missed out on dinner. We had a grand dinner on Monday night which unfortunately dragged past our kids attention zone, but we enjoyed some traditional fare. On Tuesday we went visiting, and I have attached some of the pictures. Grandma Peck (seen in the pictures) is rumoured to be 95. We also visited Grandma Sng and had a big gathering there with lots of kids, unfortunately my batteries were finished by then.

This Pancake thing you mention, it happens in other countries or is strictly a British thing?

Bye Bye, signed a bruised and battered (sorry about the pun!) Nic
