After an exhausting 3 days back in blighty including a wedding, the RA summer show, picking up my paintings, getting rightly thrashed by Ruth's dad at table tennis (twice), and a lightning visit to IOW (where you have to drive across fields to get anywhere!) we are home and looking forward to more gentle activities like breaking rocks, knocking down walls and more plumbing! Lovely to see you mum and dad. It was 26 degrees at Marseille (with a strong northerly keeping the temperature down) when we arrived at 9.00 in the evening - I will look forward to the next rain in November!
