Gem got news too

Well I went for a job interview at University of Oxford on Wednesday morning, thought it went well and was told be at least a week till I would hear anything. The next morning at work I got a call offering me the job, played it cool & told them I would think about it and they rang again the next day to ask again!! So Friday I told me bosses I would be resigning next week! To celebrate Clive & I have spent a sunny afternoon with friends in the Isis Tavern at Iffley Lock.

After tomorrows bank holiday we have a nice short week then a weeks holiday. We are going up to London this weekend to stay with Mandy, John & Ruby then on Sunday off to a wedding in St Johns Wood. Clive's cousin Graeme is gerring married to Leora at the Liberal Jewish Synagogue. After the ceremony we are all being picked up by red London routemasters & taken to the reception at London Zoo ( I don't know if we get to see the animals - last time we went to London Zoo I specifically wanted to see the otters but they were inside in their nest due to the rain!). Monday 4th is Clive's 30th so to celebrate we spending an extra day/night in the city. C's brother Martin is also coming over from Sydney, Australia for the wedding so we'll all have a good catch up.

Doesn't Meze seem like along time ago!
