Packing up is such FUN

Not only Mum and me but also Steve, who has been with us since Friday evening, Cathy, who turned up on Saturday and Leonardo, a Polish friend of our estate agent, who works casually for £40 per day, who has been with us on Saturday and today, Sunday. Luckily the weather has held off and today it is like a spring day, with a little chill in the wind, but beautifully sunny. Cathy and I were up early to take a trailer full up to our local dump, using her big Renault, which has a towing hook. One of our ladies at Lions, who, luckily holds Mum and me in high regard, has helped out with taking stuff to chairty shops and also lending us her huge trailer. Cathy took the towing all in her stride and now the trailer is filling up again. What a lot of rubbish we have collected since we moved here. The furniture van will arrive on Thursday to take all ourgoods and chattels into store, until the purchase of Kings Sutton is complete. In the meantime, Mum and I will be staying B&B in Seaview, at a place Steve found on the internet. We look forward to a nice rest and will be able to clear up by saying farewll to friends etc and generally having a 'last look round', before we set off up north along the M40. Think of us as we do ofall of you. LOL Dad etc.
