Sorry to hear your news Dad! I didn't think she would pull out, because she had told you that her possessions are in storage and her money is all with the solicitor. If she thinks she will be able to buy another property within four weeks she is either deluded or not telling the truth somehow! You must feel exhausted by it all I'm so sorry. But you don't need to pull out of the purchase of the Oxfordshire property as Christine may find you another buyer anytime and then if you have pulled out on Mr Handley, you won't be able to sell as you will have nowhere to go to and of course you will have lost money. Just let your solicitor know that she has pulled out and get that drain fixed and let the professionals handle everything else. It is always difficult moving house and the unexpected always gets somebody. I know that when one feels stressed one feel the need to do something but I think you have to sit back and let it happen, spend your time enjoying the rest of the summer on the Isle of wight.
