We had a lovely day yesterday. I said to Margy lets go for a walk. We walked down our foot/cycle path right to the end, cossed the Newport road, down to the Island harbour, where we had a rest, a cup of coffee and a bacon sandwich and walked right along the river into Newport and spent an hour being serenaded in the Quay Arts Centre by the beautifal sounds of classic guitar. After that it was a simple matter to stagger to the bus stop and get off the bus stop adjoining our house. She didn't need any sleeping tablets last night! Today we are going into Ryde, to a BBQ at a friends house and we hope the weather keeps fine.
