re Will's T-Bone Steak

What an interesting time you have had Gemma and Clive. The name of the pub where we had lunch was the White Lion over the Grand Union Canal at Marsworth, just past the reservoirs. For the uninitiated Nic invited us to lunch at the White Lion about 15-16 years ago and William ordered a T-bone steak. Nic, thinking that a small boy could not manage such a large piece of meat, decided to order fish, thinking that he would finish off the T-bone steak. Consternation - Will ate the lot and poor Nic had to be satisfied with the fish. A story that has been told many times in the Do you remember series.... Love to all our granchildren from Granddad
