Dear Julian, This must be your best thing - the blogger. Thank you so much for putting us all in touch.
Now, you guys, what about a group booking at the Travelodge. We could all extend our party and see each other for a little longer. I am sure there would be no age restrictions there, Jen. Check on the website. Another thing I have in my fertile mind is to email the Chinnor Parish Pump and ask for any of our friends in Chinnor, 1) to join us at the Manoir if they feel so inclined - people like John and Myra, or Kathy and Bill Marshall etc., etc. or 2) to get invitations for a one night stay on the 13th. for people like Nic and family or Cathy and family from people who know us(Hopefully Pete and family may be staying with Stan and Judy). 3) when we met Sally Gomme the other weekend she said that she has plenty of room in her house (The Pound House adjoining the War Memorial Gardens in High Street). Things are hotting up and we will soon have to make some real decisions. I am sending off the initial deposit to Le Manoir this weekend and that will take care of what we have in the bank. Contributions are welcome (Nic has paid his deposit) so dust off your cheque books and gimme, gimme, gimme. Mum, thankfully is feeling a lot better, and her face is almost back to normal. Now she wants some sun and she wants to put on some weight. I am trying to get her interested in FOOD again. Love to all Dad and Mum
