iPhoto and Valencia...

Dad, you can transfer that disc of photos I gave you into iPhoto fairly easily. What you do is open the disc by double clicking it so you can see the file icons. Then open iPhoto as well. The blue folders down the left hand side are your albums and you can make a new one by clicking on 'file' at the top, then clicking 'New Album'. Call it Spain 2005 or something. Once you have done that it is just a case of picking up the photos from the CD, dragging them into the album and dropping them in. You'll need to drag iPhoto off the screen a little so you can see the disc contents behind but it is fairly strightforward to toggle between the two. Hope this screed is clear enough. The question remains 'Why d'ya wanna do that?' I'm always trying to get photos off the computer onto disc, not the other way round! They take up too much hard drive space and slow the machine down in the long run. Mind you I have thousands of them and your needs are probably quite different...
