Well done Nic

I haven't sent in a tax return since 1997, for certain, and for many years before that. All my income was tax deducted at source so why try to make waves. Auntie Tina spends hours telling the Tax Office that she gets investment income which again is deducted at source but she cannot be persuaded not to spend the time. What some people say is that 'I wish I had enough income to declare tax' If I was David Beckham I would happily pay my(his) tax. Keep blogging, Nic - we all love you. We had a lovely day in Himley (near Wolverhampton as you know the area) we met lots of Merrows - Joan, Jane, Rachel and Kevin with their little 6 year old Olivia- June, Robert and Sandy, Rebecca and Alan, Cathy, Edmund, Thomas and Kate and John, Auntie Beryl (Lenny) Sue and Keith, Linda and friend Ross, newly wed Katy and husband Chad, and of course Steve, mum and me. We had two birthday cakes, champagne and lots of cards and Steve drove us back to his lovely little house in Cowley, where we stayed the night.
