valencia here i come

hi everyone, sorry i have been absent from family blogging, but i think a few of you catch up on my own (which is family blogging extended to the rest of the world!). if you do drop by, please comment. it's lovely to know you are there and following the news from les cougieux...
anyway, pete et al, i must tell you i am doing a handel opera in VALENCIA!!!! Unfortunately I'm only there for a day (bummer) but do hope you can come. will you let me know if you want tickets and i will do my best to get them. wearrive on the day (My 20th), and have a reh at 17.30 and concert at 19.30 and unfortunately leave the next morning. wish I could extend my stay but it's all group flightss.
anyway julian has just sold a huge portrait which he didn't even thing wa finished to friends of mine in montecito, so the credit card bill is nearing being paid off and we are even considering buying an (other...remember the last one which didn't work and he never took back?)airport so we can both blog like crazy at the same time instead of me being desperate for converasation while he's on and he when i am....what a way to live!
also, DUANE, of DUANE fame, offered to TRADE paintings! wooooah.
Nick and Jen, good to hear your news. oyster omelette sounded FAB!!! makes me want to get on the next plane! now I'm taking a sabbatical from glyndebourne you never know. perhaps we'll travel. my bro is in thailand, ma in italy....so much to see! have you visited shifting light or meanwhilehereinfrance? let us know when you pass by. comments are so appreciated (as all of you know who have stayed here and seen us get up. leap to our macs and grasp at the possibility of them as we used to our first cigarette of the day
