Weak sunshine and a little cool, which way will it go warmer or rain? Last night the children and friend slept out in tents in the garden,Tomos and Thomas in one tent and Kate and Edmund in the tent that a couple gave us when we were camping as a family in two,two-man tents down in St Davids and they thought that we looked abit cramped, then the children made themselves egg and bacon for breakfast had spent all day in the garden burning a huge pile of branches(buckthorn ouch!)and weeds, and filling the old red Peugeot with bits of old corrugated iron and cast-iron drain pipes rusted bits of unspeakable farming equipment and bottomless enamel saucepans, ready for the scrapman to take away. Today the garden is finally beginning to look a bit more like a garden, last weekend we bought ourselves a new lawn mower, which makes grass cutting much easier knowing that the wheels won't drop off and that the engine won't just cutout cause you turned a corner! So today John and I feel abit limp but I think I will be out there again today.
Tomorrow I am off to Hay on Wye with my book club so I can rest on the bus. Anyone got any Hay on Wye advice?
I am a little worried that everyone will stop blogging as you are all now skyping whatever that is, so please don't stop and I love the photo's.
Congratulations Pete and Jan we will be over to stay next week haha! No but seriously I'm pleased to hear your news. Look out for somewhere that we could stay and we will come and see you, could be a house, apartment, caravan or tent(campsight).
Will we're not on broadband but I will get on to the milkmen as soon as possible! love to all Cathy
