thanks everyone for your biffday greetings! e cards, jess your special one and steve for your three. what Julian failed to mention was that while he slaved away on his computer, I climbed half way up the ventoux with our neighbours (under a rainbow) before dinner with our posh funny friends so I earned it! we mostly communicate by blog now, good or bad marital therapy? we don't know!
pete i am enjoying your book which, along with the mac. made very good company on the 'delayed' (they apologise profusely)'by 4 minutes' TGV from Paris. It's a great story! Let me know if you want any comments.
