Collecting

Spent three hours this morning outside Tesco, collecting for the tsunami victims, on behalf of the Red Cross. Wonderful people - many put £5. £10 and £20 notes into our buckets, and that was day 1 of a 2 day collection. We won't know how much was collected until Monday or Tuesday.
I don't know how the people of Carlisle will feel today when they see their town under water from the torrential rains and high winds of yesterday. 25 high sided lories blown over on the A1. Winds of 80 and 90 mph. Hope Steve is OK. Welcome to our Spanish ladies. I liked the paintings, Julian, but I do not have a spare $100.
