The one and only Formula Uno

Sorry to hear the Audi is no more. What a loss. Crushing. Never mind, when you come over to us, all is not lost.

We have a Fiat Uno that can compete with the worst in the world. The MOT ran out months ago, the shocks which nearly caused it to fail last time still need doing, it squeaks on turning right, the lacquer has peeled off the bonnet, a number of interior lights don't work but forget all that! What an engine! How can you scrap a 1700cc diesel when it just keeps going? It hasn't been to the doctors since February last year. Mind you, it tends to squeal like a banshee and shed fan belts from time to time, but what's a few fan belts between friends? I would be more than proud to show anyone the ownership papers. I'd be delighted in fact because, having sent the transfer documents to the DVLA in June last year I have yet to receive my ownership papers back! - but hey! Who cares? It's got foreign plates so the local Guardia Civil are not interested in it.

Of course you don't need to drive in this if you don't want folks. You can always sit up behind me as I zip across town on the scooter!

(Truth be told we will probably have a different car by the time you get here).
