Good morning to all you bloggers.
Congratulations, Julian on the newlook website – very colourful. Also to Pete and the Stanley Rowe website, and Steve’s photos in Cornwall. Well, done Jess and Beth on your stage shown in aid of the wave. Was it just dancing or was it the full monty of dance and song? Good photos Pete. Nikki’s photos of our Christmas sojourn were reminiscent of a happy time we all had in Bonchurch. I hope you have not been too put off Cathy in your blogger postings.
I am sorry that you are all so cold. – Not so here, I am pleased to say. Although it is not yet February Wootton’s famous mimosa trees are out in full blossom and we have seen many daffodils out on the road verges. Strangers passing our house may have seen an old man clearing up our garden. So much for twice a week visits to our Fitness Club!
Earlier in the week we could see a great big cold bubble on the weather maps, which missed England but spilt down into France and Spain, giving you all that period of frost and snow..
Are you trying to equal our walk up the Ventoux, Ruth when we arrived half way up the Mont Severin road, before walking down into Malucene and getting a taxi back to Les Gargorys??
Birthday reminders for 3rd February for Will and Jen-Hwei.
It seemed that my attempt at a Yahoo Christmas card must have slid down the email drain as there has been no mention of it. Never mind, the thought was there. Joke – Adam says to God “what would you require to supply me with a female to do everything for me that I could ever desire”. God said “An arm and a leg” so Adam says “how much will I get for a rib”. Which only goes to show………………you get what you pay for! Sorry girls, it’s only a joke.
