We are sorry for Oscar, but it was inevitable. As inevitable as us having to sell the Audi this morning. It went for the give away price of £15 per ton at the local scrap dealer. We got about the same for the Audi as Nicholas got for de-flowering Oscar £15.40. We thought someone may want a class old car and put it outside with a label on it for £400. We had an immediate bite from someone who would offer us £270, but after driving it around and seeing that the MOT runs out in a couple of weeks, and inspecting the tyres, he said he would be back next day but we heard no more from him. Bite the bullet - take it to the dump. At least we did not have to pay someone to cart it away. We had a good run.
