I don't know the name of it, Perhaps Cathy or Julian may help. Glad you are not wasting away, like us.
Last night we went to a Catenian 'do' with our new found friends in the village, Nic and Anna Frazer. (about the same age as Steve and Cathy) Not Scottish, even with a Scottish sounding name - they come from Deeside. Nic works for Deutsche Poste in Croydon and Anna teaches cello at Stowe School, once a week. It was strange as, in their car (They kindly shauffered us to the do) we learned that Anna knows Claire, Dominic and Paul Morgan from student days (especially Dominic, as I gathered). Is he still single? she says? Anyway the 'do' was at the Moon and Sixpence, a very old pub in the village of Hanwell off the B4100 (shades of author Somerset Maughan; and George Sanders in the film of the same name.) The 'reception' was a surprise as we had steak and kidney pudding - not for years have we had such a gargantuan meal, preceded by a beautiful wild mushroom soup. Mum enjoyed her S&K and we both had a lovely evening - depite the rain. Next 'do' is 4th December - Christmas party in the Banbury House Hotel - black tie dinner and dance. Sunshine this morning. Steve - Lilian, next door is 70 today - what a kitten!! LOL M&D
