Have just been to local Italian! restaurant and feeling very fine after Scaloppina alla Milanese
(Pan fried Veal in breadcrumbs, served with Spaghetti in Napoli sauce and French Beans) followed by Affogato al Amaretto (Vanilla ice cream, drenched with Amaretto liquer, biscuits & granules, fresh cream and wafers excellent italian cuisine.)
Am staying in East London Street which about 100 yards from John Lewis' in the city centre and going Christmas shopping in the morning. Any requests? Tartan Shortbread anyone?
I'd forgotten about the chill factor up here so it feels a bit cooler than it is. It's no wonder the scots have invented internal central heating hic!
