Dear all, havn't posted a blog for yonks. We always read your bloggs and talk about your events, I really miss out on those authentic festivals Peter, we have all this stuff which is great too, but not the street Catherine Wheels.
So a bit of an update. The Botanic gardens have been upgraded and now there's a much better visitors centre, underground parking, a herbivarium or whatever they would call it for growing plants, a very authentic man made stream which runs through the gardens down to Holland Road which we followed to it's source (about 500 meters) only to discover tadpoles. We've been there twice recently, I took some ace pictures but I need to learn how to get them from the phone to the computer as I now have Jens old phone.
Claire has been kept busy off school, swimming lessons, art & craft etc. and Danial has been keeping us busy with periodic hospital visits. First transcient synovialitis, which was himknocking his knee triggering this lock jaw effect in his groin, so he spent the night in traction sometime in August, then last night he rolled off the sofa only to land on his collar bone and fracture that, so he's now a bit incapacitated.
With Claire's birthday coming up, she has been asking for a big fat smelly Guinea Pig, which we were not thrilled to have in our house. So after reading up on the pro's and con's of the short life of a Hamster, we have opted for a Saphire Dwarf Hamster, yet to be named. Here's a pic I think.
And Jen is fining, looking forward to here Ivinghoe payout, whatever that means!
