Howzit all? Pete and Jan here. We will be spending Christmas with some friends, a half Italian family who love all things English, including us. What we can't get is Amaretti biscuits in the wrappers that go poof and burn like fire balloons. We have all the food and trappings organised but if anyone can send us a box of Amarettis it would be great! Any offers?
Jess and Beth were in the school play tonight. All went well. Jess proved herself to be a beautiful and able dancer while Bethany played a star part as Tiddles the Cat. She too was great and there were tears in our eyes. Not a dry seat in the house, as Dad would say. I'd love to post a few photos but I just didn't take the camera. Sorry, I'll have to rely on other people who took their digitals.
I've bought the Canopus ADVC 100 which is to arrive on Thursday. This will allow me to convert my analogue videos from Africa into digital information for editing and burning to disc. This is a great Christmas project. Happy birthday me!! It'll probably take more than one Christmas, but I'll let you know how I get on so that all those who are considering similar hardware can get a review straight from this particular horse's mouth. You never know, I may even be able to post a video after a few efforts!
Love to all, Pete and Jan
