Mistrals and al that...

Hi all,

Fair weather journey up from Alfaz Tuesday and yesterday, but lucky the road wasn't closer to the edge or we might have ended up in the mediterranean. We were battered all the way from Valencia to Bedoin by strong winds blowing own off the Pyrenees. Today, however, the mistral had run out of breath and we had a wonderful crystal clear morning in puffy powder snow on the flanks of the Mt Ventoux. Amy was introduced for the first time to snow and had a blast - still a little shell-shocked by the temperature of the stuff but she is warm and dry now and has turned her attention to the cats who are slowly becoming better acquainted with her! Looking forward to seeing Ruth tomorrow and helping her and Julian to see in the new year with some freshly important Rioja, a leg of Andalucian ham and whatever fare is otherwise available in this neck of the woods.

Love to all

Pete, Jan and the girls.
